ČSN 73 0540-2 +Z1 ed. A Tato norma je anglickou verzí ČSN 73 0540-2:2002 včetně její změny Z1:2005 This Standard is the English version of the ČSN 73 0540-2:2002 including its Amendment Z1:2005. This Standard specifies the thermo-technical requirements for the design and compliance of buildings with a prescribed state of internal environment during their use, which also fulfil the basic requirement of the Building Code for energy efficiency and thermal protection. This Standard applies to new buildings and building refurbishments, maintenance works, changes in buildings' use and other changes to existing buildings. This Standard does not cover buildings with large open spaces, inflated structures, tents, mobile modules, glass-houses, stables, chilling and freezing plants, and such buildings where the state of internal environment is not prescribed. For monuments and listed buildings or existing buildings inside listed protection areas, this Standard applies according to a special regulation and/or for buildings stricken with natural catastrophes it applies in a manner commensurate with the possibilities to prevent failures and defects in the buildings' use. This standard applies also to non-heated buildings or non-heated zones of buildings, in case there is a certain defined requirement for the internal conditions, e.g. for storage, for the operation of technical facilities, etc. In these cases, the requirements of this Standard are applied in a manner commensurate with the possibilities to prevent damage and defects to the buildings or zones of buildings during their use.
